Briefly explain DNA replication process.

A

DNA molecules unwinds (topoisomerase)
DNA unzips (helicase)
Each opened up side of DNA strand acts as a template for assembling new DNA strands.
Polymerase enzyme attaches new nucleotides to unzipped DNA using complementary base pairing rules.
Two semiconservative DNA strands are formed.
