Two methods of forming or making a wax pattern
2. Incrementally add wax to form desired shape

Add wax without obtaining bubbles and develop a shiny surface on the wax
Method
Polishing
o Melt superficial layer with flame of Hanau alcohol torch across surface (let cool)
o Used soft bristled toothbrush to smooth fine bumps from flaming wax (light flaming generally does not melt the wax in grooves), toothbrush also helps clean and smooth grooves
o Smooth with paper towel
o Polish with nylon stocking
o Liquid soap on cotton roll (wash off and dry with air syringe)
