When does a marked unit need to take over

When a marked unit becomes available it will take over primary and secondary positions of pursuit and the undercover (government) vehicle will follow at the posted speed.

Notify NLECC and supervisor

• Terminate danger to LEOS or public outweighs seriousness of the emergency
• On site supervisor makes the decision , if none are available then its SAs decision.

- Remains available to assist until pursuit is terminated or HSI is no longer required
