Sick Sinus Syndrome/ Sinus Arrest
Needs a pacemaker
Explain “R on T phenomena”
Stimulus to the heart lands on T wave (Relative Refractory Period) where it is possible to cause another Action Potential. Ventricular Tachycardia can occur
Premature Atrial Contractions (PAC)
Monitor pt.
Avoid caffeine, stressors
MEDS: Beta-Blockers; Digoxin
