Partnered with Rolls Royce - pioneering development of hydrogen combustion engine technology, capable of powering narrow body aircraft ( already successfully ran a modern aero engine on hydrogen)

History of easyJet
Began in 1995 renting 2 aircraft with flights from Luton to Glasgow and Edinburgh
First international route: Luton to Amsterdam
2005 - 100 millionth passenger and 100 aircraft fleet
2019 - easyJet holidays in launched and a partnership with airbus - research into first zero emission narrow body aircraft
Reducing Plastic Waste
2022 - removed just under 12 million items of single use plastic
New crew uniforms made from recycled plastic bottles, 45 in each outfit and has the potential to prevent 2.7 million plastic bottles from landfill or in oceans over 5 years
