What if there is no time to look for research?
A
A range of sources of evidence (or info) could be used but research is preferable because research papers provide enough detail for us to know whether the research question has been properly tested, and whether we have a reliable answer

What is a systematic review?
A
- Conducted by more than one person
- Following a pre specified protocol and criteria
- Involving a wide search for evidence
- In contrast a narrative review is more open to bias, papers found by just one person who writes about them and hasnt used a systematic approach

Where can you find primary/secondary research?
A
- Primary/ unfiltered sources are research papers describing individual studies
- can also consider text books and advice from colleagues as a form of evidence, but we can’t easily judge its reliability
- Secondary/ filtered research is provided any sources such as the Cochrane database of systematic reviews
