State Faraday’s Law
Faraday’s Law states that the magnitude of induced e.m.f is directly proportional to the rate of change of magnetic flux linkage (magnitude)
State Lenz’s Law
Lenz’s Law states that the direction of induced e.m.f causes effect to oppose the change that produces it. (direction)
Define magnetic flux
Magnetic flux through the surface is defined as the product of an area A and the component of the magnetic flux density B perpendicular to that area.
Define magnetic flux linkage
Magnetic flux linkage through a coil is defined as the the product of the number of turns, N of the coil and the magnetic flux through each turn.
