What should you check to ensure you have not got an apparent EFIS failure where all IDUs appear to go blank?
Apparent EFIS Failures where all IDUs appear to go blank may be the result of inadvertent operation of the DAY / NIGHT switch to NIGHT or the LIGHTS INSTR CB tripping and causing the IDUs to go to minimum brightness. A key indicator of this condition is the UHF frequencies remain visible. Recover the IDUs by selecting DAY or by turning the brightness up using the IDU dimmers.
