Motor engine until fire extinguished or until TGT decreases

A

Park brake - set
Flaps - fully down
Reverse thrust - fully down
Lift dumpers - disarm
Check flaps position 42
Both fuel levers - shut

EMERGENCY DESCENT PF

A

Should start with ‘EXCESSIVE CABIN ALTITUDE’ procedure.

At ‘DESCENT’ command “Emergency descent”

ATS - Disconnect
Thrust levers - IDLE
Speed brake - out
Flight mode panel - 10,000ft/MEA, LVL CHNG, Mmo/Vmo
PA - “This is the captain, emergency descent”
Take action emergency descent QRH

At level:
- Speed brake in
- ATS on
- set speed
- PA - “This is the captain, oxygen no longer required”

  • Fasten seat belt and No smoking signs ON
  • Transponder 7700
  • Inform ATC
  • Landing lights ON
  • Call every 5000ft and at 2000ft to altitude
