If oil pressure is below green engine shutoff immediately

- mixture - lean shut off engine

Above 1000 can turn around
1. Airspeed - Vg (73)
2. Fuel selector - check selected tank
3. E fuel pump - check ON
4. Ignition switch - check BOOTH
5. Throttle - check MAX POWER
6. RPM - check HIGH RPM
7. Mixture - check RICH (lean >5k)
8. Alternate air - OPEN

Restarting the engine with windmilling propeller
Restart possible 70kts - Vne and up to max demonstrated altitude
- Airspeed - 80kts

- Ignition switch - check BOTH
- Mixture - appropriate position
- E fuel pump - check ON
- Alternate air - check OPEN
If engine doesn’t start
7. Mixture - LEAN
8. Mixture - push forward slowly until engine restart

I’d still won’t start adopt GLIDING and perform EMERGENCY LANDING
Restarting engine with stationary propeller
Restart possible at airspeed 80kts-Vne up to max demonstrated altitude
1. Airspeed - 80kts
2. Electrical equipment - OFF
3. Avionics master - OFF
4. Master switch (BAT) - OFF
5. Mixture - check as needed
6. Fuel selector - check fullest
7. E fuel pump - check ON
8. Alternate air - OPEN
9. Ignition switch - START

By increasing airspeed above 130kts prop will begin spinning and engine will start with Ignition switch set BOTH. Will lose at least 1000ft - RESTARTING WITH PROP WINDMILLING.
If engine won’t start, adopt GLIDING and perform EMERGENCY LANDING

When starting on the ground
- Fuel selector - OFF
- Cabin heat - OFF
- Brakes - apply
After standstill:
4. Throttle - MAX POWER
5. Master switch - OFF
When engine has stopped:
6. Ignition switch - OFF
7. Canopy - open
8. Airplane - evacuate immediately

- Master switch (ALT/BAT) - OFF
If engine is running:
2. Throttle - IDLE
3. Mixture - LEAN shut off engine

6. Airplane - evacuate immediately
Smoke and fire durring takeoff

- Cabin heat - OFF
- Brakes - apply, come to stop
- After stopping - procede as in SMOKE AND FIRE ON THE GROUND

- If possible (1000), fly along a short-cut traffic circuit and land on airfield. If not, land straight ahead

After reaching height from which landing area can be reached

7. Master switch (ALT/BAT) - OFF
8. Emergency windows - open if req.
9. Carry out emergency landing with engine off. Allow extra distance for flap position
Engine fire in flight
Begin to prepare to land immediately while completing fire suppression
- Cabin heat - OFF
- Select appropriate landing site
When it seems landing assured
3. Fuel selector - OFF
4. Throttle - MAX POWER
5. E fuel pump - OFF
6. Master switch (ALT/BAT) - ON
7. Emergency windows - open if req.
8. Carry our Emergency landing with engine off
Electrical fire in flight
- Emergency switch - ON
- Masters switch (ALT/BAT) - OFF
- Cabin heat - OFF
- Emergency windows - open if req
- Use standby instruments
- Land at appropriate airfield as soon as possible

- If possible fly rectangular circuit on downwind. Check for obstacles
- Airspeed - Vg 73
- If time - Advise ATC
- Fuel selector - OFF
Landing assured:
7. Flaps - LDG
8. Safety harnesses - tighten
If sufficient time mitigate fire
- ignition switch - OFF
- master switch - OFF
- Touchdown with lowest possible Airspeed
Spin recovery
PREA
1. Power - Idle
2. Rudder - full opposite the spin
3. Elevator - full forward
4. Alerons - neutral
5. Flaps - up
When rotation has stopped:
6. Rudder - neutral
7. Elevator - pull carwfully
8. Return to normal flight attitude. Do not exceed Vne
