Engine Start Malfunctions:

- Positive Oil Pressure within 10 seconds
- During start with a tailwind, no positive increase of N1 before starter cutout (50% N2)
- No light-off indication within 30 seconds after fuel flow
- ITT exceeds 815°C (Hot Start)
- Oil pressure below limits
- N1 and/or N2 fails to accelerate to stable idle speed (Hung Start)
- Intermittent electrical pneumatic or starter malfunction occurs before the starter disengagement

Engine Start Parameters
- Timer start: at initial N2 rotation
- 10 Seconds: Positive Oil Pressure
- 7% N2: Monitor Ignition (IGN A (B) displayed on EICAS)
- 20% N2 and <120°C ITT: Verify Fuel Flow
- Light-off: Within 30 seconds after fuel flow
- N1 rotation: Prior to Starter cutout (approximately 50% N2)
- 50% N2: Verify IGN A (B) goes out
- Engine Stabilization: ITT tick mark moves
