16
Q

Engine Start button should release at what % N2?

17
Q

Manually pull out the engine start button by what % N2 if it does not release?

18
Q

After the engine start button releases the light should extinguish when?

A

within 30 seconds of the button popping out

19
Q

If the engine start button light remains illuminated after 30 seconds what should you do?

A

Isolate all the air sources to the engine and stop start.

20
Q

What is the typical fuel flow for an engine after it is fully started?

21
Q

Min Eng Idle Values (N2%) (sea level through 6,000 field elevation)

A

0 degrees C - 58% N2
15 degrees C - 60% N2
30 degrees C - 62% N2
45 degrees C - 64% N2

(1% N2 for every 2,000ft above 6,000ft field elevation)

22
Q

What is the engine starter duty cycle?

A

max of 5 start attempts in 1 hour followed by a 1 hour min cooling period.

2 consecutive starts are allowable without a cooling period between attempts. A 15 min cooling period is required before a 3rd start attempt. Subsequently allow a 10 min cooling period between start attempts.

(motoring the engine for 30 seconds during the engine clearing procedure is not considered a start)

23
Q

How long do you need to wait before reengaging the starter?

A

40 seconds after N2 RPM goes out on the MFD engine display
