- Regulated according to bleed system demand and ambient conditions
- In flight when the flaps are up and on the ground when no reverse is selected (taxi + cruise)

- regulated according to aircraft attitude
- In flight with the flaps extended to allow for a more immediate selection for go around
When will you get reverse idle?
- On the ground when the thrust levers are in REV IDLE, to give more thrust to slow down quicker

How does the fuel get to the engines?
Fuel flows from the tank, via the LP fuel pump and the fuel/oil heat exchanger to the HP pump to the HMU and to the fuel nozzles
What will moving the ENG MASTER lever to OFF do?
Commands the closing of the LP and HP fuel shut off valves, closes the fuel return valve and opens the bypass valve
How is the IDG cooled?
Some of the fuel flowing out of the HMU goes to cool the oil systems of the IDG
Fuel return valve (FRV) controlled by the FADEC ensures this flow is adequate
