hip angle > 90 ideally 105-125
feet flat on floor
Neutral shoulder position
shoulders in horizontal line
weight evenly balanced when seated
neutral back position
leaning forward slightly from the waist or hips
trunk flexion = 0-20
avoid over flection of the spine (curved back)
When working on the mandibular position the mandible
parallel to the floor
when working on the maxillary postion the maxilla
perpendicular to the floor
