Q

If an evacuation is potentially considered prior to landing (Land with a fire indication) and then an evacuation is executed. What sequence of PA’s and actions will assist in maintaining order?

A
  1. Prior to landing, captain or delegate should conduct the “LAND PREPARATION” PA - reference the QRH.
  2. After landing when the aircraft comes to a STOP, the captain must set the park brake. Once the park brake is set, conduct the “ALERT PA”
  3. Conduct the “ENGINE FIRE ON THE GROUND” or “CARGO FIRE” NNC.

Note: You should never do the Evacuation checklist without having the “ALERT PA” done. ALWAYS ATTACH ALERT PA WITH PARK BRAKE SET ON RUNWAY.
