Describe the stages of the triangular trade

A

This is an example answer that you could have:

On the triangular trade there was 3 stages, each of these are extremely long and brutal espically for the slaves. The first stage of The Triangular Trade is The Outward Passage, which is a journey from Britain to West Africa, on this journey they would carry items to trade for the slaves e.g Glass Beads and Muskets. The second stage of The Triangular Trade is The Middle Passage from West Africa to the Caribbean, this journey would carry the new enslaved Africans to their new home in the Caribbean to work at plantations. This would last 6-11 weeks of horrible condition for the enslaved. The final stage of the Triangular Trade was The Home Run from the Caribbean to Britain, this journey would carry Sugar, Rum and Tobacco to give to the people in Britain,which was harvested by the Africans at plantations. After the Home Rum was complete this process would start again.

The methods used by the abolitionists were somewhat effective and useful. One method used by abolitionists was the group Sons of Africa created personal accounts and told the people horrors from the Slave Trade. A second method used was Thomas Clarkson, who travelled around Britain to show people equipment from the Slave Trade. A third reason was meeting and speeches that drew attention to gain publicity.

A

This is an example answer you could have

Slaves were disciplined in the most brutal ways possible. One way was torture if slaves attempted to runaway. A second way was branding, they did this using hot iron into their skin. A third way was chains and neck irons used for not working hard enough a lot of times.
