Determining g using free fall
A
- measure h from bottom of ball bearing to trapdoor
- flick switch = simultaneously start timer + disconnect electromagnet, releasing ball
- hitting trapdoor = breaks circuit = stops timer
- record timer, repeat 3 times, find avg
- biggest random error = measuring h
