An impulse(or action potential) is
generated
the impulse travels along the
sarcolemma and down the t- tubules
and then the calcium is released from the sarcoplasmic retuiculum and enters
into the sarcoplasm
Calcium then binds to troponin and causes it to
change shape
Troponin is going to slide tropomysoin out of the way and expose the
active sites on actin
myosin heads are chemically attracted to the
active sites on actin
Myosin heads bind to actin and pull the sarcomere shortens and force is generated
by the muscle
