Go To Related Record
It is a BUTTON COMMAND that goes to a RELATED RECORD. Say you have an INVOICE with a CUSTOMER’S NAME linked to it. Make the CUSTOMER’S NAME in the INVOICE a button with GTRR and it will take you to the CUSTOMER in the CUSTOMER’S LAYOUT.
the relationship you’re using has a SORT SPECIFIED.
a. Go to a RELATED RECORD
b. Find all the RELATED RECORDS and SORT THEM (if the RELATIONSHIP has a SORT SPECIFIED)
c. It can CREATE A NEW WINDOW d. Lets you set an OPTION that includes the use of a FOUND SET.
Select CUSTOMER'S NAME in the layout, choose FORMAT--> BUTTON SETUP, choose the GO TO RELATED RECORD script command.
The GO TO RELATED RECORDS options Dialog box pops up.

SHOW RECORD USING LAYOUT
SHOW IN NEW WINDOW
SHOW ONLY RELATED RECORDS.
the layouts that USE THE TABLE OCCURRENCE YOU JUST SELECTED.
your CURRENT LAYOUT CAN’T SHOW YOU RELATED DATA, because it DOES NOT HAVE THE REQUIRED FIELDS. So you tell the button which layout to use.
