Indications - most likely to occur during taxi, hover, low airspeed operations. White smoke, flight control components may rapidly disintegrate due to heat.
*NOTE - two additional fire detector sensors are installed in aft section of main transmission and pylon area to detect fire in vicinity of rotor brake/no2 engine

Indications - when compartment rises above 575 signal is sent to illuminate caution light
*NOTE - caution light may illuminate for a short time during restart of engine. Monitor for hot and hung.
