They are caused when heavy rainfall accures and the river burst its banks. It can also accure when a tsunami hits a town.

We can stop flooding by using river bank or building them out of stronger materials and higher walls.

They are fields that the town allows to flood to try and stop it from getting to the town.

The leaves on the trees collect the water and it will soak up the water quickly stoping heavy rain reach the river.
