A
  • superior for hydrocarbon fuels (GASOLINE/FUEL OILS) and polar solvents…3% rate for hydrocarbons and 6% for polar solvents
  • preferred use if ENTRY into pool of fuel must be made…apply continuously when members enter foam blanket
  • 1000 gallons of Fuoropolydo is carried in BOOSTER TANKS OF FOAM CARRIER 206 AND 95
  • FOAM CARRIERS carry 5 gallon cans, as do Satellite units

once spill is abate and leak stopped, a decision has to be made whether or not to allow the tanker to proceed or to have it loaded ....if you are confident the vehicle can move without the leak starting again , an engine company can ESCORT the vehicle to a loading facility in NYC

use fresh or salt water - yellow band can - only eductor supplied with the Hi-ex generator should be used (yellow band) - metering valve 1-6 percent - 60 GPM required - maintain 200-220 PSI at inlet of foam eductor
