- verbs ending in -yer the y becomes an i (for verbs ending with -ayer both y and i ways are permitted. eg. employer - j’emploierai, tu emploieras or payer - je payerai/paierai
- verbs ending in -oir are irregular in futur simple as are aller, envoyer, faire, and venir
