She talks to Gabriel and finds out he doesn’t remember anything, just falling. She goes down to the kitchen make him some sandwiches.
Summary
- Estelle (10 year old daughter) is making a square of power using powder and wishes for her brother (Lily’s husband) to come and save them as an angel. Lily bursts in and says that there is a man naked and unconscious on the beach and that they have to help him, Estelle goes with him. Jeanne comes with Von Pfunz and gives away a lot of details like Lily is a jew because she assumed she doesn’t speak english and they return and say they were out after curfew because they were tending a sick cow - Von Pfunz knows she is a jew (even tho there are no cows) Estelle is angry at mum. Calls the man gabriel and warms him up - he looks like Myles
- Gabriel wakes up but doesn’t remember anything
- Estelle has been playing tricks on Von Pfunz pretending his house is haunted (belonged to Jeanne’s husband) , Von Pfunz comes and meets Gabriel and voN pfUNZ says he is an SS officer who was missing - Gabriel can speek german

Why do I want it?
I HATE THIS ISLAND hates her life as a farmer for the black market to sell to the Germans while the island is staving and wants to do something in london, scared as a hidden jew in an occupied area
