What are the steps to working out the end date

Answer 1

1. How many days are non working of that month
2. How many days in September
3. The total days of the month minus the non working days to get how many working days
4. Put it into a fraction - number of working days divided by the number of days in the month times by 1
5. Duration minus the answer to 4, and keep misusing 1 until you get a number between 0 and 1
6. The answer to 5 times the amount of days in the month
7. Round up the answer to 6 to get number of days

Work out the end date using this example
Start date - 07/01/2023
Duration - 2.86

Answer 2

1 - non working days = 6
2 - how many days in jan = 31
3 - 31-6 = 25
4 - 25 / 31 x 1 = 0.81 months
5- 2.86 - 0.81 - 1 - 1 = 0.05
5a - working duration in feb - 1 month
- working duration in March - 1 month
6 - 0.05 x 31 = 1.5
7 - round up to 2 days
ANSWER - END DATE IS 2ND APRIL 2023
