A
Most glass is soda ash/lime/silica-based with the addition of a small percentage of magnesium and aluminium oxides and colouring agents

Regulations and Safety Glass
A
- Any pane of glass less than 300mm from FL shall be 6mm thick or saftey glass
- Panes in doors shall not be less than 6mm thick and not exceed 1m²
- Clearance all around between 2-3mm

A
- Neoprene Gasket (3-5mm clearance)
- Teak Putty (For wood frames)

Installation
A
- Back Putty/gaket under and behind window frame 2-3mm thick
- Making sure the putty covers the rebate and underside of beads
- Apply front putty and cut if off around 2mm bellow the sight line of the rebate
- Apply paint or finish as desesired, making sure to cover the putty and/or beads to avoid drying out and cracking
Putty for saftey/solar glass to be of the non-hardening type
