Operates independently of the Basic modes 1-5. Select off to inhibit the terrain data.
- Could be due to NOTAM, or
- Runway/Airport not in database.

SYS OFF pb

Answer 2

SYS Off – Inhibits Basic GPWS Modes 1-5.
o Does not affect the terrain function.

Question 3

G/S Mode pb

Answer 3

G/S Mode – Turn off only due to a failure.
o Glideslope signal unreliable.
