Things to Do when fever
- Monitor the Temp
- Keep person in cool place
- Remove Excess Clothing
- Give sponge bath
- Give plenty of fluids
- Give prescribed doses of paracetamol
- Consult a doctor
What not to do in fever
- wrap person in blankets
- give aspirin
What to do when someone is dizzy
- Drink plenty of water
- Have regular meals
- Get enough rest
- Stand up slowly
- Reassure the anxious dizzy person
Causes of nosebleeding
- nose-picking
- facial trauma
- high blood pressure
- infections (ex. dengue)
- vitamin deficiency
- use of medications
- bleeding problems
First aid for nosebleed
- Do NOT stop the bleeding
- Cover nose with loose, dry sterile dressing
- Call for emergency medical assistance
Snakebite: What not to do
- Suck the wound
- Apply a tourniquet

- Calm the victim, sit with head tilted forward
- DO NOT tilt backward
- Pinch nose, breathe through mouth
- ice pack on nose bridge and forehead
- No rubbing, blowing, or picking of nose after bleeding stops
