semen). Can also be transmitted from a mom to
baby during childbirth
Hepatitis C
caused by the hepatitis C virus – transmitted
through blood contact from shared needles or
improper sterilization of healthcare tools
Hepatitis D
Caused by the hepatitis D virus– cannot cause
infection on its own, only develops in people
already infected with the hepatitis B virus
Hepatitis E
Caused by the hepatitis E virus– transmitted
through the consumption of contaminated water
or food.
