Define severe sepsis
Sepsis + hypoperfusion (hypotension, oliguria, confusion, acidosis)
Define septic shock
Sepsis with refractory hypoperfusion (ie fluids don’t correct hypotension, oliguria, confusion, acidosis)
What is the one ABx you really shouldn’t mix with alcohol?
Metronidazole (Nausea and vomiting +++)
