• Academic record: averaged 74% in first year, achieving a first in all problem solving and analytical modules
• Achievedd 4 A*s at A Level, winning three subject awards for attitude and attainment
• Knack for problem solving -> through uni and my time at Lisboa I have got a good professional understanding
• Like to be challenged: chose Mech Eng at a top 10 Uni to be challenged, went to China without knowing anyone to meet other engineers from across Europe and appreciate lectures and company tours from new perspectives.

What do I hope to have achieved following the placement year?

• Firstly want to grow in my technical skills, whether that be my proficiency using new CAD software or experience using specific manufacturing equipment or simply understanding the engineering behind some of the most dominant engines in motorsport
• Additionally, I feel that I would be motivated going back to university to pursue specialisms that have wide applications to the real world and be able to apply my learning immediately

Tell me a little bit about yourself

• Always enjoyed maths-based subjects especially, flourished in school
• Picked a levels i knew would open a lot of doors, but kept broad skills: history
• Chose Mech Eng at Bath for its impressive course ratings accreditations, ability to specialise later AND campus/sport/city
• I have been eager to use my love and skills in maths and physics to make meaningful impact to the world around me - especially as we tackle climate change

What are your strengths

• Balance of strengths: academic excellence, whilst prioritising collaboration and responsibility
• Particular strength in maths, achieving 299/300 at A Level maths, A* in further and 78% in the mathematics module
• Broad strengths, my communication skills are strong, i scored 88 and 91 on lab reports last year
• Extremely collaborative, feel proud when part of a team and motivated to contribute what I can to help the group succeed
• I am mature in showing awareness of emotions and behaviours in the workplace btu also addressing when responsibility needs to be taken

• Finding balance, Dad is currently battling blood cancer and so its an intense situation where you have to keep going whilst that is looming
