Tap Day: the members of the Beta chapter were led by the school marching band, where they were made to face a
crowd of prospective members. The members of Beta Chapter were instructed to tap their assigned man on the
shoulder. The practice was discontinued by Alpha Chapter because they disagreed with this process of choosing
members.
