-Government regular monitors, social media to judge public opinion

-Government can also make their views known through the media to influence public opinion

-Sectional pressure groups represent the interest of a group of people
These are usually workers groups are professions such as solicitors
-Cause groups promote a particular cause such as environmental groups and animal welfare groups
