Question 1

Customer has 3 node cluster where one node was re-imaged and provided a new ip for AHV and CVM and customer tried to expand the cluster. How will you recover from this scenario.

Answer 1

Cluster expansion will be stuck in kNewNode state due to the disks already existing in zeus config. We need to run steam_roller.py script to remove the new node from zeus and then re-image the node with old ip’s and run boot_disk_replace script
