A
Injection moulding is the manufacturing process for producing parts by injecting material into a mould. Injection moulding can be made with a variety of materials mainly including metals,glasses and thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers.

The injection moulding cycle
A
The sequence of events during the injection mould of a plastic part is called the injection moulding cycle. The cycle starts when the mould closes, then you inject the polymer into the mould cavity. Once the cavity is filled, a pressure is put to compensate for material shrinkage.
