Why should we hire you?
- I’ve been playing for coming on up to 10 years now and have quite a bit of experience.
I love all aspects of the game, I enjoy interacting with others and I really want to share what I’ve learned so far with the kids and group of kids that come to learn and have fun everyday at the Philpott camps
What makes you more qualified than other candidates?
- On top of working for Philpott during the summer, I have shown that I’m flexible, and I’ve been available for most last-minute calls and I am actually still working for Philpott at the Boulevard Club every weekend since October
- Also worked with OTA, done private lessons and I look forward to be beginning at the Bluffs soon
- So I’ve definitely improved and matured a lot in the last year.
What did you like most and least about your last job?
MOST: Being active and playing with younger kids
LEAST: There was a lot of garbage left when we would come in the morning so I would usually end up cleaning it all up before the kids came
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
STRENGTHS: I socialize with others easily and I usually am easy to talk to, which is important when your teaching and spending time with kids.
WEAKNESSES: Public speaking hasn’t always been easy for me, but I actually just recently finished a book on speaking with confidence and I’m slowly improving
Describe a time when you handled conflict
One time a parent was getting quite frustrated that their child was still doing beginner-level training after 2 weeks and we spoke and had a productive conversation
and I told her that it takes time and their child is actually still progressing.
And it was very nice to see because the next week she was finally able to hold a several ball rally
Are there any particular accomplishments you are proud of? (personal, professional, academic etc.)
- Well, I’m happy that I’m doing well academically for sure
but. .. - I’m also proud of myself for having worked this past year and for being able to have made new friends and learn new things along the way

I try to be consistent and fair with my rules as possible and I act in a way that I can set an example for them
