A
Ammeter - measures current but isn’t placed in series
Voltmeter - Placed in parallel

Recall the practical
A
- Connect circuit
- Change output voltage to alter the current and voltage across the component
- Take readings to see how current varies when voltage is changed
- Plot current against voltage to get an IV graph
- Calculate resistance
- Do not overheat circuit and if it gets warm, cool it for a bit
