8
Q

What is voltage?

A

It is created by the separation of charge (power source)and is the electrical pressure that pushes electrons (current flow) through a closed circuit.

9
Q

What is resistance?

A

The opposition against the flow of current in a circuit. The resistance comes in the form of collisions that occur as a current flows through a material with low conductance (resistor).

What is a coloumb?

A

The charge of a single electron/ number of charges in an electron.

1 coloumb = 6.24 x 10 ^18 electrons

Q

What is a generator?

A

A device that separates charges and produces electrical voltage. It draws electrons from a positive pole and transports them to the negative pole whilst maintains potential difference.
