What is the mechanism of action of Fosamatinib? What is the indication?

It’s an oral (SYK) spleen tyrosine kinase inhibitor. You only use it for patients who have not had a previous response to prior therapy

What should be monitored while on Fosmatinib?

Answer 2

You must monitor BP, LFTs, diarrhea, and neutropenia. Avoid use with CYP3A4 inhibitors.
