1000’ Stabilised Approach

Answer 1

1. Established on correct lateral and vertical path, with only small changes to correct
2. Configured in the planned config
3. Sink rate not greater then 1000fpm
4. Appropriate thrust setting to achieve/maintain approach speed
5. All briefings complete

Question 2

500’ Stablised Approach Criteria

Answer 2

In addition to the 1000’ criteria

1. Airspeed not more then target +10kts and not less then -5kts
2. Landing checklist complete
