Take time to apply KED
Restricts pt are
Increase pain for pt with fractures to their torso, pelvis and legs.

Procedure

C-collar
Prepare KED
Green, yellow, red, white and black, padding, forehead straps
Ensure they are tight
Release leg straps prior to the pt lying down
