Interpersonal coherence suggests their is a consistency in way offenders interact with their victims and those in everyday life eg. Behaviour of a rapist after race crime may show how they act to women in everyday life
Geographical profiling is type of bottom up approach based on spatial consistency where their geographical base and location of future crimes may be revealed by location of previous crimes
Circle theory
Suggests crimes will form circle around where the person lives with will be more evident the more crimes. From this can you can infer more such as transport, age etc. Two types =marauder acting close too home and commuter who travels distance from home or residence
