Knot protocol.
A
Ensure the correct knot is selected for the task.
Place tension on the line to set and tighten the knot.
Knots must be inspected after tying.
Knots must have a tail no less than 150 mm after tightening—except when tying a stopper knot, which must have a minimum tail of 1 m.
Knots must be checked by another Rope Rescue Team member.
Knots must be removed / released from the line after use.
