-palp hamstring portion first: isch tube and move down picking up hamstring portion for a bit, switch to finger pads to adductor tubercle
- move back to isch tube and move more medially, palp down middle of thigh w/ fingers pointing down to indicate fiber direction, jump over hiatus and insert on adductor tubercle
- fiber direction for hamstring portion is straight down, adductor portion is fingers pointing down and jump hiatus (donkey)
