A

among the smallest of the cyanobacteria, oceanic
Possibly the most abundant type of cell on earth
Perform P/S at great depths (low light) but also near surface
Unusual chlorophyll that photosynthesis at low light levels
Prochlorococcus and synechococys are the bggest contributors to P/S on planet
