Q

Oil Temp Limits

A

Max Temp 117C

Minimum oil temp before power application:
1. 0C (Oil 5 cSt)
2. -10C (oil 3 to 3.9 cSt)

During oil warm up period, the engine must be run with the collective in its full down position. The twist Grip can be in Idle or Flight position.

18
Q

Oil Press. limits

A

Oil pressure has variable limits that depend on N1. Use VEMD to monitor pressure in different phases of flight

19
Q

Electrical Circuit Limitations

A

Max Voltage: 31.5V (rated 26-29V)
Max Current: 150 A Max continuous (200 A Max continuous of MOD OP-3821 installed)

20
Q

Baggage compartment load limits

A

62.5 lbs/ft2
RH cargo compartment: 287 lbs
LH cargo compartment: 342 lbs

With a max distributed load of 30 lb/ft2
Rear cargo compartment: 176 lbs

21
Q

Cabin compartment load limits

A

With a max distributed load of 62.5 lbs/ft2
Rear cabin floor: 1091
FWD left cabin floor: 893

22
Q

Mandatory Equipment

A

Minimum of two headsets shall be on board, one worn by the pilot to monitor the warnings delivered through the ICS system and another as a spare.

23
Q

Hover limits in high OAT conditions

A

If OAT > 35C hover in and out of ground effect with a relative RH wind from 45 degrees to 135 degrees is limited to 5min. For any power rating and any windspeed above 5 kt

24
Q

EBCAU test (for maintenance)

A
  • Should get a Red GOV light followed by a Yellow GOV light.
  • NR should increase to 390 +/- 2

When turning EBCAU OFF:
- Yellow GOV and Red GOV light should go out
- NR should return to the normal FADEC Controlled range
