Luke Summary
This book begins with the story of how John the Baptist was born, and then connects John’s mother to Mary, the mother of Jesus. Chapter 2 tells the story of how Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem to listen to and question the teachers in the temple. In chapter 6 there is a similar parable about David that Jesus tells. Chapters 23 and 24 recount a similar story to Mark and Matthew concerning Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection.
