Q

How to convert Fractions to Decimals
Ex: 0.22

A
  1. put the decimals as the numerator
    • 22/N
  2. Write 1 as the denominator
    • 22/1
  3. count the decimal places and add an equivalent amount of zeroes to the denominaor.
    • 0.22 = 2 decimal places
= 22/100 - the denominator is 100 because we add two zeroes because 0.22 have two decimal places.
  4. reduce to lowest terms.
    • 22/100 = 11/50
