Cabin altitude / Rapid Depressurisation
Don oxygen to 100% Establish crew communications Pressurisation mode selector MAN Outflow valve hold in CLOSE If cabin uncontrollable: Signs ON Pax Oxygen ON Commence emergency descent checklis
Aborted engine start
Conditions:
Start lever CUTOFF
Engine limit or surge or stall
Autothrottle DISENGAGE Thrust lever (affected engine).. Confirm.. Retard until indications within limits or thrust lever closed
Loss of thrust on both engines
Start switches FLT Start levers CUTOFF When EGT decreases.. start levers IDLE If EGT reaches red line or no increase in 30 seconds.. Start lever (affected engine).. confirm.. CUTOFF, then IDLE Repeat as needed
APU fire
APU Fire Switch.. confirm.. pull and rotate
APU switch OFF
Engine fire/severe damage/separation
Autothrottle DISENGAGE Thrust lever.. confirm.. CLOSE Engine start lever.. confirm.. CUTOFF Engine fire switch.. confirm.. PULL If engine fire switch or overheat is illuminated.. Rotate and hold for 1 second
Engine overheat
Autothrottle DISENGAGE
Thrust lever.. confirm.. CLOSE

Runaway stabiliser
Control column HOLD FIRMLY Autopilot DISENGAGE Autothrottle DISENGAGE Control column and thrust levers CONTROL PITCH, ALT, SPEED Main elec stab trim REDUCE CC FORCES If runaway stops after autopilot disengaged: do not re-engage AP or AT If runaway continues: Stab trim cutout switches CUTOUT if runaway continues: Trim wheel- HOLD
Airspeed unreliable
Autopilot DISENGAGE Autothrottle DISENGAGE FD switches OFF Set: Flaps extended: 10/80 Flaps retracted: 4/75
