   5. APU IN BITE status message out
2. APU, START/STOP Switch…….ON
   
   1. Start Light On
   2. APU START status message on
   3. Before 60% rpm - START light and APU START status message out
   4. NOTE: 99% rpm + 2 seconds AVAIL light on
3. AC and DC electrical power..CHECK
   
   1. Electrical Snynoptic Page
   2. Voltage, Frequency, and Load are in GREEN
   3. All AC and DC buses powered and lit green
   4. Battery Chargers operating on DC electrical synoptic page
4. Bleed Source Switch.. As Required
5. Bleed Valves Switch…As Required

Fire Detection System Test

Answer 2

1. Push test button for two seconds and check
   
   1. FIRE SYS OK advisory message is on
   2. Both MASTER WARNING lights come on
   3. LH ENG FIRE PUSH light is on
   4. RH ENG FIRE PUSH light is on
   5. APU FIRE PUSH light comes on
   6. BOTTLE 1 ARMED - PUSH TO DISCH light is on
   7. BOTTLE 2 ARMED - PUSH TO DISCH light comes on
   8. (APU)BOTTLE ARMED - PUSH TO DISCH light is on
   9. FWD and AFT CARGO SMOKE PUSH lights on
   10. CARGO FIREEX, BOTTLE ARMED - PUSH TO DISCH light comes on

Your looking for 11 lights to light up, all associated with engine, APU, and the 3 lights on lower center console for the cargo

When do you run the Fire Test?

Answer 3

Prior to starting the APU on the first flight of the day. Make sure the battery master has been on for at least 30 seconds prior to starting test

Takeoff….Discontinue immediately
